Fridays at the clinic, days out with a mobile camp, evenings in the computer classroom, or an hour a week from wherever you are. Tell us what you can do.
These are the roles we have people in today. If you can do something else that would help, say so on the form.

Roughly twice a month, a full day away from the office. Setting up, registering, crowd management, and packing down. Physical work and long hours in the heat.
Teaching or assisting on the Office Applications course at the Abul Khair Computer Training Center. You need working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, and the patience to teach a beginner.
Photography at clinic days and distributions, writing reports in Bengali or English, and keeping the Facebook page current. This is how donors see what happened.
Organizing an appeal, approaching companies and institutions, or running a collection where you live or work. Diaspora volunteers do most of this.
Fill in the form below and a member of the team will call you. The first conversation is short and practical: where you are, what you can do, and which Friday or campaign day suits you. Most people begin by working one clinic morning alongside somebody experienced, which is the fastest way to find out whether the work suits you.
If it does not, say so. We would far rather hear that after one morning than lose somebody quietly three weeks later, because a rota with a gap in it is worse than a shorter rota.

Anyone who can be relied on. The largest single need on a clinic morning is people who write clearly, count accurately, speak kindly to someone who is frightened, and stay until the last patient has been seen. Medical training is welcome but not required for most roles. We ask for honesty about your availability, respect for patients' privacy, and acceptance of the organization's rule that it takes no political position.
Yes. Fundraising, communications, translation and partnership work can all be done from anywhere, and Bangladeshis abroad do most of our fundraising. If you are visiting the district, tell us in advance and we will arrange for you to work a clinic day or a campaign while you are here.
Join a mobile health campaign or a Friday clinic. Specialist doctors travel from Dhaka for our camp days, and we always need more. Tell us your specialty, your registration and the dates you could give, and we will match you to a camp. Visiting doctors are named in the report we publish after the camp, with their agreement.
If you cannot spare the time, a donation buys the medicine that volunteers hand out.
