Transparency
Transparency
Our financial reporting exists so that a donor can check what happened to their money. This page says plainly what we publish today, what we do not yet publish, and how to ask for it.
Committed to transparent financial management
Our financial reports provide a clear view of how donations and funding are used to drive positive change. We prioritize transparency in all financial dealings, ensuring every contribution is directed towards meaningful initiatives, and we publish accounts of income, expenditure and the progress of ongoing projects.
Transparency and integrity are our core strengths, and we are committed to maintaining complete clarity in all our organizational activities.
Published reports
We have not yet published downloadable annual, project or financial reports. Until we do, a written account of any specific project, including what was spent and what was delivered, is available to donors and to the public on request. Use the form below and name the project and the period you are asking about.

How we report
For every activity or project we provide detailed reports to the donors and supporters who funded it. A donor who pays for a clinic day is told how many patients were seen, in what proportions, and what medicine was dispensed. A donor who funds a distribution receives the number of families and the unions covered.
Alongside that we publish summaries here and on our Facebook page. Every clinic report on this website carries the patient count on the day, and every relief report carries the number of households. Where a number is disputed between our own older pages, we say so rather than quietly choosing one.
We manage our regular activities through monthly contributions from members, donations from friends and well-wishers, and the work of volunteers. For each project we set a proposed budget and raise against it. In an emergency we go back to the community with a specific appeal and account for it separately.

Questions about money
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. Card donations generate an emailed receipt automatically as soon as the payment clears. For a bank transfer or a mobile money payment we issue the receipt once we have matched your payment against our statement, which is why we ask you to send us the date, amount and reference. If a receipt has not reached you, write to support@abulkhairwelfare.org with those details and we will send it again.
How do you report on what you spend?
Every donor to a specific activity receives a written account of that activity: what was delivered, to how many people and at what cost. Summaries are published on this website and on our Facebook page, with the patient count for every clinic report and the household count for every distribution. Downloadable annual, project and financial reports are being prepared, and until they are published a written account of any project is available on request.
Can I choose which program my donation supports?
Yes. Name the program when you give, either in the message field on the donation form or as the reference on a bank transfer, and we will record your gift against it and report on that program specifically. If a program is already fully funded for the period we will ask you before moving your gift anywhere else. Gifts with no program named go to general funds, which is where the running costs of the clinic sit.
Give, then hold us to it
Every donation on this site can be traced to a program, and every program owes you an account.
